ACCESSIBILITY

Guide dogs and other registered assistance dogs are welcome. Please contact us prior to booking so we can assist you with best locations to ensure you enjoy the performance.

There will be a variety of accessible seating in various areas of the auditorium for each performance. These locations may change from one show to another based on the sightlines and technical requirements for their specific show.

Inside Sydney Coliseum Theatre, each of our three levels inside the theatre, have accessible restrooms featured at the entry way to each of all public restrooms.

Locations within West HQ include, Eat Street, Eat Street Bar, The Sports Bar, The Ambassador Room and Southern Entrance

West HQ has two multiplex carparks. Recommended parking is located in P1 carpark which is best accessed from Railway Street, Rooty Hill. There are 14 designated parking spaces located on the ground floor with stair free access to our brand new main entry foyer, Ticketek box office, Eat Street dining and bars.

GENERAL

Strollers, prams and baby capsules are not permitted into Sydney Coliseum Theatre and we encourage you to leave them at home or in your car if you’re driving to the venue. If you must bring them with you, they will need to be checked into the cloak room before entry to the venue. 

We do not allow customers to bring their own food or beverages into the Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ

The Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ is a 100% smoke free environment.

If you are late, we will seat you as soon as possible, but please be aware that some events have lock out periods where latecomers cannot be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

There is a range of refreshments available inside the Sydney Coliseum Theatre. A variety of dining options are available inside West HQ as you enter the Main Entrance.

We encourage you to avoid bringing any large items to the Sydney Coliseum Theatre. Large bags, backpacks or suitcases are not permitted into the theatre. Handbags up to A4 size are permitted but may be inspected as a condition or entry. We will ask you to store these in our cloak room which is a free of charge service. Our cloakroom is located at the Main Entrance of West HQ. Items presented to the cloaking desk will only be accepted from customers with a valid performance ticket. If you are uncertain, please ask one of our Customer Service team members who will be happy to assist you.

The Sydney Coliseum Theatre will host live concerts of all musical genres, musicals, contemporary dance, ballet, symphony, comedy and dramatic theatre.

The Sydney Coliseum Theatre will also host corporate events such as conferences, banquets and cocktail parties. The venue will be available to hire and interested parties can enquire at www.sydneycoliseum.com.au

On show nights, West HQ can be a busy precinct. We suggest you plan ahead of time and arrive at least 30 minutes before your show start time. We have a stellar collective of chefs and well-known food brands which call West HQ home, providing something delicious for every taste and occasion, so why not come in a little earlier and beat the crowds? Visit ‘Eat & Drink’ on our website to see our food and beverage offerings.

All customers, irrespective of age, must have a ticket to gain access to the Sydney Coliseum Theatre. The ticket price for Babes-In-Arms will be determined by the Promoter – these are generally classified as a Junior priced ticket otherwise cheapest priced ticket for that performance. The ticketing process will be managed by Ticketek on productions where babies are permitted to sit in their Carer’s lap. Please contact Ticketek before you purchase your tickets to discuss the policy for your specific show.

We are located within the West HQ precinct - 33 Railway Street, Rooty Hill NSW 2766.

By train: We are a 10 minute walk from both Rooty Hill and Mt Druitt Train Stations

By car: West HQ offers 2000 free carparking spaces. We are 5 minutes from the Powers Road M7 Exit

By Bus: The closest bus stops are:

Stop Number 276675, Sherbrooke St

Stop Number 276646, North Parade before Sherbrooke St Rooty Hill RSL

Parking is free and is not time restricted

TICKETING

No. They only way to ‘guarantee’ that you are able to attend your event is to purchase through the Official Seller, in this case Ticketek.

Our only official ticketing partner is Ticketek.

In this digital era, scalping has increased substantially due to professional scalpers using sophisticated tech to harvest tickets the minute they go on sale and provide mis-leading information to fans.

Depending on the individual show and at the discretion of the promoter, West HQ members may get access to pre-sale periods, offers and competitions.

Tickets to shows cannot be bought by redeeming Member Loyalty points

There is a Box Office located at West HQ. The Box Office is located at the Western Entrance and best parking for the box office is the P1 accessible via 33 Railway Street, Rooty Hill or via North Parade.

When you purchase tickets through the Official seller, you pay a fixed price as determined by the Artist.

In addition, the ticket you purchase is 100% guaranteed, and if something goes wrong, you are able to speak with Box Office Staff at the event.

SIGNING INTO WEST HQ

If using a physical drivers licence or NSW Photocard, simply place the identification card on the scanner and then take a snap. Our facial recognition scanners will confirm your identity and issue you with a temporary membership.

Please present your West HQ Loyal card on entry to Member’s Services staff or at one of our NEC Self Serve Kiosks

 

You must bring a form of photo identification to be eligible for entry. We’ve partnered with NEC to create new self serve kiosks to assist you in signing in and confirming your identity with ease.

Acceptable forms of Identification for our self serve kiosks are:

  • Drivers Licence
  • NSW Photo Card
  • Digital Driver’s licence
  • West HQ Loyal card

If you hold a pension card, passport or other government photo identification, our friendly customer service staff can assist you with your sign in.

 

A valid form of ID is required for patrons aged 18 and over to access Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times.

You are required to be a member of West HQ, or be the guest of a member providing you are entering the premises with the member.

If you live within 5km, the cost of your West HQ membership is included in your ticket price. When you arrive please sign into our NEC Self Serve Kiosks using your driver's licence, digital drivers licence or NSW Photo Card..

One of our friendly Member’s Services team members can assist you on the night with this process but we recommend becoming a member prior to show date.

Simply request assistance at the kiosk and our friendly customer service staff will assist you.

 

Sydney Coliseum Theatre is located within West HQ, a registered club and to enter you are required to sign in with your driver’s licence, digital driver’s licence or West HQ loyal Membership.

We’ve partnered with NEC to create new sign-in kiosks to make this process quick and simple with our self-serve kiosks.

 

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

If you are feeling unwell, with any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend the theatre. If you have any concerns over your ticket, please contact Ticketek directly.

If the show you were attending is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, you will receive an email from Ticketek offering a full refund or an exchange to a later performance. 

West HQ’s dining outlets are open. View what is open on the day of your show here. CHU Restaurant by China Doll remains temporarily closed until further notice. Bars and eateries within Sydney Coliseum Theatre will be enforcing strict social distancing measure and some may be closed.

Masks can be worn at your own discretion. NSW Health advice states face masks are recommended (where practical) in indoor settings. 

 

Yes, there are bathrooms available across the destination. Please follow all social distancing and queueing signage inside the bathrooms. Hand sanitisation stations are available throughout the venue as well.

Yes. When you arrive at the sign-in kiosk, we will ask you to scan and verify your ID. We will require you to provide your phone number for which will be stored for contact tracing purposes. We will also ask that you declare yourself, or any minors in your care, free of any COVID-19 symptoms.

 

Yes, in line with NSW Health orders, social distancing will be enforced in all areas around Sydney Coliseum Theatre. This means staying 1.5m apart from each other in queues and in the foyers. Auditorium seating will be subject to social distancing requirements. We also ask that you remain seated unless queuing up to buy food or drinks.
