ACCESSIBILITY GUIDE
Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ, is a theatre for all to enjoy.

DROP OFF ZONES
Are located at:
West HQ Main foyer entrance. Cars enter via North Parade and proceed to drop off area adjacent to foyer entrance. This is the best drop off zone if you wish to get a bite to eat before the show at Eat Street.
ACCESSIBLE PARKING
West HQ has two multiplex carparks. Recommended parking is located in P1 carpark which is best accessed from Railway Street, Rooty Hill. There are 14 designated parking spaces located on the ground floor with stair free access to our brand new main entry foyer, Ticketek box office, Eat Street dining and bars.
P5 which is best accessed from North Parade has 6 designated parking spaces on the ground floor and Level 2. Lift access will take you to the Southern Entry Foyer where you can then proceed to the lift located outside of Member’s Services and up to the theatre walkbridge entrance.
CLOSEST ACCESSIBLE TRAIN STATION
If travelling by train, Mount Druitt train station is the closest train station with accessible facilities such as lifts, boarding ramps, wheelchair accessible toilet, accessible carpark space and 24 hour, 7 day a week staff. More information about Mount Druitt Train Station can be found here.
ACCESSIBLE RESTROOMS
Accessible restrooms are featured on every level of the theatre at the entry way to each of our public restrooms.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING
Wheelchair seating is located in Row X of the Stalls. These seats can be booked in person at our West HQ Box Office (accessible via 33 Railway St, Rooty Hill) or by calling (02) 9677 4916 between the hours of 10am – 8pm. Please see our seating plan here.
HEARING AUGMENTED SYSTEM
A Hearing Loop is installed in the theatre and is accessible from every seat. A Hearing Loop device can be requested and collected from our cloakroom directly opposite the Crystal Bridge entry. The device will then need to be returned to the cloakroom directly after the performance has concluded.
GUIDE DOGS
Guide dogs and other registered assistance dogs are welcome. Please contact us prior to booking so we can assist you with best locations to ensure you enjoy the performance. The most suitable seating for patrons with guide dogs will be at the front of the Stalls on the aisle or in Row X in the rear of the Stalls.
WHEELCHAIR BOOKINGS
Stalls, Row X is reserved for wheelchair bookings. These seats can be booked by calling (02) 9677 4916 between the hours of 10am – 8pm.
COMPANION CARD BOOKINGS
Companion Card holders can book by calling (02) 9677 4916 between the hours of 10am – 8pm. The companion card number will need to be provided at the time of the booking. If you would like to make a last minute on the day booking, our Box Office team will do their best to assist you with that booking outside business hours and depending on seating availability.
WHEELCHAIR AND TRANSFER SEATING
Stalls, Row X is a dedicated row that is reserved for wheelchair bookings. It can also accommodate companions and other guests that wish to be seated together.
If you are able to transfer from a wheelchair/mobility scooter into a theatre seat you may wish to book an aisle seat in the rear of the Stalls (Row X). You can do this directly through us by calling (02) 9677 4916 and our Box Office team will assist as best as possible.
Our ushers will assist by storing your wheelchair and bringing it to you at the end of the show. Wheelchair and mobility scooter access is easily available in the Stalls, Row X via lift to the Mezzanine level and entering the theatre through Door 5 or 6 (as displayed on the show ticket).
LIMITED MOBILITY BOOKINGS
If you have difficulty travelling up or down stairs, please book your seats in the front of the Stalls (between Row AAA and D). There are also easily accessible seats in Stalls, Row X which do not involve any stairs to get towards the seats. Please note, all of the seats in the Mezzanine and almost all seats in the Balcony section have many stairs to travel up and down from, please see our seating plan here.
